Dr. Carl Fernandes

My aim is to educate and encourage patients to strive for a healthy and active lifestyle. I am passionate about treating people who care about their bodies and want to understand the root cause of their symptoms. During my treatment sessions, I use a variety of hands-on techniques combined with modalities like active tissue release, soft tissue mobilization, TENs and instrument-assisted soft tissue work.

Dr. Mark Harsant

Dr. Mark Harsant is an evidence based Chiropractor trained at CMCC in Canada. He has been practicing for over 13 years in Ontario. He employs many techniques to help his patients including Diversified Chiropractic, modalities, tool assisted, manual release therapy, Graston, and drop tables, to name a few. He is also educated in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University. He looks forward to helping you with all your musculoskeletal health needs.

Taruneet, BPT

Taruneet has been a registered physiotherapist with more than 15 years of experience. She has worked in multi-specialty hospitals, with patients from post surgical, gynecology, orthopedic, pediatrics, sports injuries, concussion, motor vehicle accidents and workplace injuries. Orthopedic injuries interest her the most and she believes that strengthening the body is key to full functional recovery. She is currently working on updating herself in Women’s Pelvic health.

Her greatest asset is her empathy and care that she delivers to each patient. She likes to stay active, running and working out are part of her routine.

She likes to spend her free time with her precious 2-year-old daughter. She also enjoys running and working out so she can be fit enough to make people embrace fitness as a part of their life.

I completed my Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph in 2018, followed by my Master of Science in Physiotherapy at McMaster University in 2020.

During my clinical placement, I have had an opportunity to assess and treat various orthopedic injuries with a population that includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. I believe in treating a patient as a whole and in an empathetic manner.

By utilizing a patient-centered and evidence-based approach to treatment that includes manual therapy, exercise, and education, I hope to optimize a patient’s wellbeing and performance. In my spare time, I like to get outside to hike, bike, and skate to maintain an active lifestyle! I also love to bake healthy – and not so healthy – treats.

Neha Mahajan

Neha received a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree in 2009, followed by a Master’s degree in physiotherapy ( Sports and Musculoskeletal) in 2013 from India.

Neha enjoys living an active lifestyle and encourages her patients to do the same.

She is passionate about educating her patients about their bodies (posture , ergonomics etc.)with treatment plans focus on identifying underlying factors which are creating problems. She uses this understanding to create a path to pain relief, a return to physical activity and to prevent future injuries using evidence -informed best practice individually tailored treatments to her clients’ needs

Specialties: Musculoskeletal injuries (sprains, strains, tear repairs), Post-operative rehab, Return to Sport/Work, Neurological conditions focusing on mobility/balance conditioning, paediatrics, and Geriatrics.

Neha is an avid reader . In her free time , she enjoys hiking and playing sports with her son and husband .

Registered Massage Therapist

Komal Daliya

Komal, is a Registered Massage therapist and she has 4 years experience in physiotherapy and rehabilitation settings as a foreign trained physiotherapist.

She keeps a positive approach toxwards the betterment of the patients. Komal’s approach emphasizes restoring mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing overall fitness through therapeutic massages and mindful practices. She believes in empowering her clients to embark on a journey of healing and self-discovery, integrating evidence-based techniques with compassionate care.

She even graduated in a health and fitness program from Georgian college, Barrie. She has extensive hands-on experience with various populations such as: pregnancy, athletes, motor vehicle accidents, neurological and orthopedic conditions. She takes a personal approach to treatment, making each session suited just for that client. Her detail-oriented technique ensures a meticulous intake and review of client’s health history and conduction of an assessment.

Bhoomi

Bhoomi has been practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist since 2023. She completed her Diploma in Massage Therapy from National College and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from India. Her strong foundation in both physiotherapy and massage therapy allows her to create highly tailored treatment plans to address each client’s specific needs.

Bhoomi has extensive experience treating conditions such as sprains and strains, chronic neck and back pain, headaches, and chronic pain. By integrating therapeutic techniques with clinical knowledge, she focuses on improving mobility, reducing pain, and supporting long-term recovery.

She specializes in a wide range of modalities, including prenatal and postnatal massage, hot stone massage, Indian head massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, Swedish massage, and lymphatic drainage. Bhoomi has completed additional training in prenatal and postnatal massage, helping expectant and new mothers achieve relaxation, comfort, and overall well-being throughout and after pregnancy.

Outside of her professional practice, Bhoomi enjoys reading books, listening to music and insightful podcasts, and spending time hiking in nature.

Rina Gorasiya

Rina Gorasiya is a dedicated Registered Massage Therapist with a Diploma in Massage Therapy from Sutherland Chan School of Massage Therapy and a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University. With expertise in deep tissue, lymphatic drainage, hot stone, pregnancy massage, and more, she has a proven track record of effectively treating a variety of conditions. Her experience includes working at Sutherland-Chan Student Clinic and Specialty Clinics, where she managed musculoskeletal impairments and provided specialized care for patients with spinal cord injuries, HIV, and pregnancy-related conditions. Rina is committed to delivering exceptional client experiences and enhancing the reputation of prestigious spa establishments.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching massage videos to learn new techniques, movies, cooking, and embracing yoga for a balanced lifestyle.

My name is Mandeep Sidhu, I am a Registered Massage Therapist. I graduated from Sutherland Chan School in June 2013. I have 7 years’ experience in massage therapy.

I did various Speciality clinics and had exposure to Prenatal or high risk pregnancies at Sunny brook Hospital and Spinal Cord injuries at Lyndhurst. I have experience in Breast massage for patients after Mastectomy, Implants, and Surgeries.

I have a vast knowledge of senior rehabilitation in massage and specialize in Deep Tissue Massage, Therapeutic Massage, Cupping Therapy, Myofascial Release, and overall wellness massage. I also have a diploma in physiotherapy assistance and practiced for one year before I did Massage Therapy.

In her leisure time, she loves spending time with family and friends. She enjoys watching massage videos to learn new techniques to expand her knowledge in her favourite field.

Zeel is a kind, dedicated Resident Physiotherapist who brings both international training and Canadian education to her practice. After earning her degree in physical therapy abroad, she furthered her majors of Fitness and Health at Humber College. Her journey toward becoming a licensed physiotherapist in Canada was marked by patience and persistence. Yet she held onto her faith that this path was meant for her, and today she brings that same hope and determination into every session with her patients.
 
With experience as physiotherapy and chiropractic care assistant in our clinic, she is now enjoying as a Physiotherapist to help geriatric, pediatrics populations, orthopedic, post op, workplace injuries and neurological conditions. While not at work, she enjoys singing or traveling with family.
 
Her holistic, heart-led approach helps patients feel seen, heard, and empowered—reminding them that healing is not only possible, but a gift she’s honoured to support.

I’ve been receiving physio for bursitis and arthritis in my hip. With treatment twice a week plus individualized exercises at home I’ve regained my ability to walk upright rather than hunched over. Although I still require more treatments, the pain is manageable and sleeping through the night is possible now. I’m on the right track. My physio is with Taruneet and Jas who know exactly what my body needs and evaluate my progress and treatment constantly. Everyone I’ve come in contact with has been professional, caring, dedicated and efficient (shout out to Patricia on front desk as well). For me, physio is not a magic pill and requires patience and hard work over time. My expectations going into treatment were low as I had had mobility issues for so long. I don’t mean to be dramatic, but I’m getting my life back!

I have been seeing Zeel for just over three months now, and I have to say that she is wonderful! I suffered from plantar fasciitis and with her consistent care I now walk around with zero pain! I have had my service with Zeal for upper shoulder pain and a neck hump and she was absolutely amazing!
