Taruneet has been a registered physiotherapist since 2005. She graduated in India and had the chance to work with three of the most prestigious multi-specialty hospitals in India; one of which was accredited with the Joint commission International (JCI) which is considered a gold standard worldwide to accredit health care institutions.
She has worked with patients from all specialties but orthopedic and sports injuries is what interests her the most.
She has been practicing physiotherapy in Ontario since 2013 since obtaining her license here in Canada. She has had the chance to work with patients with motor vehicle and workplace injuries, as well as with various insurance companies.
She believes that empathy is her greatest virtue and that teamwork is the key to success.
She likes to spend her free time with her precious 2 year old daughter. She also enjoys running and working out so she can be fit enough to make people embrace fitness as a part of their life.
Dr. Mossaed, BSc., D.C.
Dr. Mossaed, graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1997 and has since been practicing as a full time Chiropractor serving the Brampton and Mississauga Communities.
He has owned and operated 5 centers from 1998 to 2006. As he built his chiropractic practice, he also taught 2nd and 3rd year students advanced Chiropractic techniques.
In 2006, he decided to shift his focus from multiple clinics to one center in order to give him the time to further develop his skills as a Chiropractor. He started a unique methodology integrating Chinese and Indian exercise and breathing techniques along with Western Chiropractic systems to help patients achieve optimal health.
During this period he also was a contributing writer for the Health and Wellness sections of the local Brampton newspaper providing informative articles regarding Chiropractic and Health.
Dr. Mossaed is also a 4th degree black belt in karate and a professional Taichi instructor. He spends his free time researching, writing and whenever possible, travelling in order to further his studies of the various health acre modalities used to treat patients.
Registered Massage Therapist
Mandeep graduated from Sutheraland Chan School in June 2013. She worked in various specialty clinics and had exposure to Prenatal or high risk pregnancies at the Sunny Brook Hospital and spinal cord injuries at Lyndhurst.
She has experience in breast massage for patients after a mastectomy, implants and surgeries. She has a vast knowledge of senior rehabilitation in massage and specializes in deep tissue massage and lymphatic drainage.
She holds a diploma as a Physiotherapy Assistant from Trios College and practiced for one year before she found a new love, massage therapy.
She really enjoys practicing massage therapy as she wants to make a difference in people’s lives who suffer with musculoskeletal problems.
In her leisure time, she loves spending time with family and friends. She enjoys watching massage videos to learn new techniques to expand her knowledge in her favourite field.
Sukhdeep, BSc Kin
Registered Massage Therapist
Suhkdeep went to Sutherland Chan School and Teaching Clinic for Massage Therapy and graduated in June 2014.
He specializes in Swedish massage, Myofascial Release, Dynamic Release, Joint Mobilizations Lymphatic Drainage, Sports Massage, Pregnancy & Post-partum therapy, pre and post-surgical massage and Kinesiology taping.
He has experience working with the elderly and people suffering from neurological disorders, depression/anxiety and chronic pain. He holds a Bachelor of Science, Specialized Honours in Kinesiology.
In his spare time he enjoys reading, spending time with family and trying his best to live a healthy lifestyle.
Dr. Diva, ND
Dr. Diva is a licensed and board certified Naturopathic Doctor with a special interest in women’s health, mental emotional wellness, stress management and weight loss. With a holistic perspective, she focuses on resolving the root cause of illness so that her patients are able to live a life of joy and vitality. Dr. Diva is committed to providing results, empowering her patients, as well as being a trusted and compassionate guide along their healing journey.
Dr. Diva graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (Toronto) after completing her Honours Bachelors degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences from York University. During her internship, Dr. Diva had the privilege of volunteering with Natural Doctors International (NDI), providing free naturopathic services and educating the residents of Ometepe Island, Nicaragua. Dr. Diva is a member of both the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
Aside from her Naturopathic practice, Dr. Diva loves spending time with family, enjoying the outdoors and traveling.
Swati completed bachelors of Physiotherapy from India in 2008. She has experience working as a registered Physiotherapist in hospitals and private clinics in India. She has worked in orthopaedic and neuro-rehabilitation centers where she has treated in-patients as well as patients.
Swati moved to Canada in 2010 and started to work as a Physiotherapy Assistant at long term care home and clinics Swati is knowledgeable and has experience working with geriatric patients and patients with disabilities such as dementia, Parkinson’s and multiple sclerosis.
Currently she is working as a Registered Physiotherapist at the clinic. She enjoys working in an environment where she can apply her training and knowledge towards improving patients ‘conditions. She brings a professional and positive attitude to the clinic and her goal is to improve the health and well-being of all patients.
In her spare time she loves playing sports and to shop. Her motto is “nothing is impossible; in fact impossible itself says i-am-possible”.
Carmen has a certificate Management Development with an extensive 15 years of customer service background, 7 of which are in the management field.
Prior to joining the Brampton Physiotherapy team, Carmen was a Branch Manager for an organization to alternative financial services.
Through her role, Carmen gained strong leadership skills, managed a financial budget and grew her business through internal/external marketing.
She enjoys working with the public and her friendly smile makes others feel at ease instantly. Her transition from a financial industry to healthcare and wellness has given her motivation to better herself and others. Her attention to detail has enabled her to thrive in the administrative field.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her two children and family.
Ana graduated from the Executive Office Administration program at Sheridan College with a 3.8 GPA. She has over 15 years of customer service and administrative experience. Ana enjoys motivating and uplifting those around her and maintains a positive outlook on life.
Ana is passionate about coffee, and it has been said that she consumes too much caffeine. While working for Second Cup at their head office, she was given the opportunity to sample Kopi Luwak coffee. It was good, but not $200 good.
In her free time, she enjoys baking, hiking, yoga, reading, and knitting. She recently learned how to knit a hat and is quite proud. Mittens and socks are slated to be her next challenge and she looks forward to conquering those as well. She has four plants named Carl, Stephen, Karen, and Thelma and a cat named Ted.
Since joining the Life Clinic team, Ana has enjoyed meeting new patients and looks forward to seeing them when they come in for their appointments.
Omar has over 9+ years experience as a PTA working in multidisciplinary clinics. Omar graduated from Trios College in 2010 with honours from the Physiotherapy Assistant program.Omar is a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo,registered with the World Taekwondo Federation. He has worked with clients in motor vehicle accidents, WSIB, work hardening programs, OHIP, Slip and Falls. His passion, commitment and expertise in the field will help you achieve your goals whatever they may be!
Danielle is a math major from Brock University with a love for numbers and statistics. She previously worked in the health and recreation industry as an Assistant Staffing Manager, supervising over 300 staff annually. After realizing her passion for the health industry, Danielle chose to pursue a career with Life Clinic to continue working with, and helping, people become their best self.
In her spare time, Danielle enjoys training with her personal trainer, running, yoga, and hiking. Danielle believes in keeping an active lifestyle and builds activity into every day. She spent five years competing on the National swim team for Mississauga and enjoyed horseback riding for three years.
Danielle strives to continue to improve her customer service and management skills and aspires to manage a physiotherapy clinic for Life Clinic.
Ceara graduated from Georgian College’s Occupational Therapy Assistant / Physiotherapy Assistant diploma program with Honours.
Ceara has experience providing occupational therapy and physiotherapy interventions for neurological clients whom have suffered from strokes, peripheral neuropathy, and other degenerative diseases. She has gained experience working in orthopedics and been given the opportunity to observe a total knee replacement, alongside orthopedic surgeons. She has treated many clients with hip/knee replacements and spinal cord surgeries with various prescribed exercises following their surgical operations.
Ceara also works with clients whom have sustained traumatic brain injuries (TBI) from motor vehicle accidents. She works in assisting with community re-integration, behavioural management following a TBI and collaborates with different health care professionals in implementing strategies to support cognitive development.
Ceara believes that a good attitude and mindset are key to the recovery process, along with motivation and perseverance. Her goal is to positively influence each of her clients to help them achieve their goals and feel great about themselves.
On down time, Ceara loves travelling, weight training, yoga and attending concerts.
Nasiba Ulusow graduated from school of physiotherapy from Al-Ahfad university in Sudan 2014 where she obtained her bachelor degree with honour in physiotherapy. Strongly advocate for continuing education, have taken post-graduate diploma in Nutrition, Mulligan Mobilization approach, and health promotion. Nasiba also worked as a registered physiotherapist in Sudan and gained excellent experience working with orthopedic, neurology and pediatric conditions. Nasiba moved to Canada 2 years ago and is working towards getting a physiotherapy license. Prior joining life clinics, Nasiba worked in Mount Dennis Weston Physiotherapy and Chiropractic Centre in Toronto where she was able to gain great experience working with sport injuries,work related conditions and Soft tissue techniques.
Nasiba enjoys working as physiotherapist assistant using her knowledge of physiotherapy and experience to help patients to overcome their conditions, she also enjoys motivate and educate patients to change their lifestyle and be happier in their lives.
In her spare time Nasiba enjoys taking courses on self development and consciousness, reading books yoga, meditation, exercise and nature walks.
Jordaine has received his Bachelor of Science degree with honours in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph in 2015. Afterwards, he earned his certificate in Exercise Science and Lifestyle Management at Humber College in 2017. He has been involved in fitness and sports his entire life by participating in a wide variety of sports and disciplines including basketball, and soccer.
Jordaine has worked in the Industry since 2015 when he started working as a personal trainer at LA Fitness. He began his employment as a fitness professional where he worked with clients individually or in groups. He expanded his skills doing boot-camp classes teaching full body circuits, core classes, low and tone classes, and therapeutic classes for the elderly.
Jordaine is a firm believer in tailoring and individualizing programs and workouts as he understands that each patient has his own vision and journey of how they want their bodies to look, feel, and function. His knowledge on programming exercises ranges from beginner to advanced techniques to challenge the patients in ways that will prevent plateaus and inconsistency.
In his spare time, Jordaine likes playing video games, reading comic books, weight lifting, and enjoys trying new things.
