Mina is a passionate physiotherapy resident who began on our team in December 2016. Mina began his education in rehab at York University in 2007 where he received his Bachelor of Science with specialized honors in Health Science and Kinesiology. He then worked for a couple of years and a kinesiologist and clinic director.
In 2013, Mina decided to further his education by enrolling at D’youville College where he received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. During this venture down south Mina traveled to several cities in America for varying internships. These internships allowed Mina to be exposed and trained in a variety of settings with a wide spectrum of patients.
Mina has experience with: cardiovascular rehab, neurological rehab, vestibular rehab, urgent care, work hardening, and musculoskeletal rehab.
When not working vigorously in the clinic Mina enjoys playing basketball and reading up on the most up to date evidence based practices.
Tony is a registered physiotherapist practicing for over 20 years. He treats musculo-skeletal and soft-tissue injuries and has been doing so since he started his career.
Tony’s treatment approach is to focus on the source of the problem, employing education, manual therapy, modalities and exercise. His
objective is for his patients to return to their pre-injury state and engaging in the activities they enjoy.
He has practiced in a number of areas, including motor-vehicle accident treatment, workplace injuries and pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation, working closely with orthopedic surgeons. He recently returned to Canada from the United Kingdom after completing an engagement as a specialist physiotherapist on the Occupational Health Team at the Universities of Morecambe Bay National Health Trust where he was nominated for Regulated Health Professional of the Year award 2015.
He is a graduate of the Leeds School of Physiotherapy, England, and is registered with the Ontario College of Physiotherapist.
When he’s not treating his patients, Tony enjoys the outdoors, hiking and kayaking in summer, skiing and snowshoeing in winter and running year round.
Taruneet has been a registered physiotherapist since 2005. She graduated in India and had the chance to work with three of the most prestigious multi-specialty hospitals in India; one of which was accredited with the Joint commission International (JCI) which is considered a gold standard worldwide to accredit health care institutions.
She has worked with patients from all specialties but orthopedic and sports injuries is what interests her the most.
She has been practicing physiotherapy in Ontario since 2013 since obtaining her license here in Canada. She has had the chance to work with patients with motor vehicle and workplace injuries, as well as with various insurance companies.
She believes that empathy is her greatest virtue and that teamwork is the key to success.
She likes to spend her free time with her precious 2 year old daughter. She also enjoys running and working out so she can be fit enough to make people embrace fitness as a part of their life.
Dr. Mossaed, BSc., D.C.
Dr. Mossaed, graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1997 and has since been practicing as a full time Chiropractor serving the Brampton and Mississauga Communities.
He has owned and operated 5 centers from 1998 to 2006. As he built his chiropractic practice, he also taught 2nd and 3rd year students advanced Chiropractic techniques.
In 2006, he decided to shift his focus from multiple clinics to one center in order to give him the time to further develop his skills as a Chiropractor. He started a unique methodology integrating Chinese and Indian exercise and breathing techniques along with Western Chiropractic systems to help patients achieve optimal health.
During this period he also was a contributing writer for the Health and Wellness sections of the local Brampton newspaper providing informative articles regarding Chiropractic and Health.
Dr. Mossaed is also a 4th degree black belt in karate and a professional Taichi instructor. He spends his free time researching, writing and whenever possible, travelling in order to further his studies of the various health acre modalities used to treat patients.
Registered Massage Therapist
Mandeep graduated from Sutheraland Chan School in June 2013. She worked in various specialty clinics and had exposure to Prenatal or high risk pregnancies at the Sunny Brook Hospital and spinal cord injuries at Lyndhurst.
She has experience in breast massage for patients after a mastectomy, implants and surgeries. She has a vast knowledge of senior rehabilitation in massage and specializes in deep tissue massage and lymphatic drainage.
She holds a diploma as a Physiotherapy Assistant from Trios College and practiced for one year before she found a new love, massage therapy.
She really enjoys practicing massage therapy as she wants to make a difference in people’s lives who suffer with musculoskeletal problems.
In her leisure time, she loves spending time with family and friends. She enjoys watching massage videos to learn new techniques to expand her knowledge in her favourite field.
Sukhdeep, BSc Kin
Registered Massage Therapist
Suhkdeep went to Sutherland Chan School and Teaching Clinic for Massage Therapy and graduated in June 2014.
He specializes in Swedish massage, Myofascial Release, Dynamic Release, Joint Mobilizations Lymphatic Drainage, Sports Massage, Pregnancy & Post-partum therapy, pre and post-surgical massage and Kinesiology taping.
He has experience working with the elderly and people suffering from neurological disorders, depression/anxiety and chronic pain. He holds a Bachelor of Science, Specialized Honours in Kinesiology.
In his spare time he enjoys reading, spending time with family and trying his best to live a healthy lifestyle.
Dr. Rob, ND
Since graduating from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2002, Dr. Rob, ND has been a proud member of the Naturopathic community, eager to introduce the benefits of natural medicines in various clinical settings. Dr. Rob is especially excited to join the Life Clinic-Young Street Physiotherapy team. With a clinical focus in weight management, rehabilitation, pain management, and cosmetic acupuncture, the fit at the clinic was obvious.
In addition to his clinical career, Dr. Rob has built his experience on previous work as a Naturopathic consultant for a nation-wide Employee Assistance Provider. He has also taught various Continuing Education courses at CCNM; And has had various articles on natural healthcare, as well as the natural healthcare industry, published in magazines such as VIVA and Integrated Healthcare Retailer.
Dr. Rob is also the developer of the HealthyStartOnline.info website, devoted to compiling some of the best and reputable websites on the web relating to general health, stress and nutrition.
Dr. Diva, ND
Dr. Diva is a licensed and board certified Naturopathic Doctor with a special interest in women’s health, mental emotional wellness, stress management and weight loss. With a holistic perspective, she focuses on resolving the root cause of illness so that her patients are able to live a life of joy and vitality. Dr. Diva is committed to providing results, empowering her patients, as well as being a trusted and compassionate guide along their healing journey.
Dr. Diva graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (Toronto) after completing her Honours Bachelors degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences from York University. During her internship, Dr. Diva had the privilege of volunteering with Natural Doctors International (NDI), providing free naturopathic services and educating the residents of Ometepe Island, Nicaragua. Dr. Diva is a member of both the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
Aside from her Naturopathic practice, Dr. Diva loves spending time with family, enjoying the outdoors and traveling.
Active Therapy Coach
Ammar has earned his Bachelor’s degree with honours in Kinesiology from York University in 2014. He has been involved in fitness and sports his entire life. By participating in a wide variety of sports and disciplines including track and field, soccer, swimming, and Olympic strength training.
Ammar has worked in the Industry since 2010 when he started working as a rehab assistant under a physiotherapist while still attending university. He began his employment as a fitness professional where he worked with clients individuallyor in groups. He expanded his skills doing boot-camp classes teaching full body circuits, core classes, and myofascial release techniques for rejuvenation and recovery.
Ammar is a firm believer in tailoring and individualizing programs and workouts as he understands that each patient has his own vision and journey of how they want their bodies to look, feel, and function. His knowledge on programming exercises ranges from beginner to advanced techniques to challenge the patients in ways that will prevent plateaus and inconsistency.
He believes that the secret to success is to work towards his passion every day to uncover new levels within himself to further understand patient’s goals and inspire them to discover theirs!
Physiotherapy Assistant/Active Therapy Coach
After completing a Bachelors of Physiotherapy in India and working in an orthopedic hospital for one year as a Physiotherapist, she decided to come to Canada for further studies. She graduated from Humber College in April 2014 as certified personal trainer.
She stepped into this industry in December 2013 and started her first job as a personal trainer at LA Fitness. She loves being in fitness and the physiotherapy field because she gets a chance to work with patients one-on-one and seeing them progress through treatment. Helping people attain their fitness goals and making their lives pain free gives her personal satisfaction. Her training mainly includes cardio, weight and circuit training. She also focuses on range of motion and flexibility with stretching techniques.
She is currently working on her physiotherapy certifications in Canada.
In her spare time she enjoys shopping, cooking and reading books. Her favourite inspirational quote is “I don’t find the time to exercise; I make the time to exercise”.
Swati completed bachelors of Physiotherapy from India in 2008. She has experience working as a registered Physiotherapist in hospitals and private clinics in India. She has worked in orthopaedic and neuro-rehabilitation centers where she has treated in-patients as well as patients.
Swati moved to Canada in 2010 and started to work as a Physiotherapy Assistant at long term care home and clinics Swati is knowledgeable and has experience working with geriatric patients and patients with disabilities such as dementia, Parkinson’s and multiple sclerosis.
Currently she is working towards getting her license as a Registered Physiotherapist in Ontario She enjoys working in an environment where she can apply her training and knowledge towards improving patients ‘conditions. She brings a professional and positive attitude to the clinic and her goal is to improve the health and well-being of all patients.
In her spare time she loves playing sports and to shop. Her motto is “nothing is impossible; in fact impossible itself says i-am-possible”.
Kelly has completed her Physiotherapist Assistant/ Occupational Therapist Assistant (PTA/OTA) program at Conestoga College, graduating with distinction. Since then she has gained a wide variety of physiotherapy experience working at A.R. Goudie Long Term Care, Franklin Physiotherapy Clinic and Freeport Hospital. On the occupational side, some of her most recent work has been at Creative Therapy Health Services working with children who have Autism.
Kelly enjoys working with such a wide variety of people because not only can she help them with their recovery and to improve their quality of life but can learn from them and their life experiences. She thinks it is rewarding to see how resilient and positive people can be when they are given the right information and tools to do so.
She is a kind and enthusiastic person who is excited to be here at Brampton Physiotherapy and Wellness Centre. Here she can be part of the team that helps people overcome their injuries and lead happier and healthier lives.

Karen has worked as a Wellness Coach since 2010 and has been a health and wellness enthusiast most of her life. Before joining the Life Clinic team, she worked as a Clinic Director of a Wellness Centre for 5 years.
She graduated from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in 2015 as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist. Plus, she graduated as a Homeopath from the Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine in 2010 and she holds certifications as an Iridologist, Reiki Master, Emotional Freedom Technique Practitioner and Esoteric Healing Practitioner. She’s a member of the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition Alumni Association.
She enjoys educating her clients on healthy eating and making positive lifestyle changes which can have a huge impact on one’s overall body, mind and spirit.
Karen is passionate about using fresh, clean, local and organic foods in her gourmet cooking. The addition of yoga, meditation, and nature hikes help her achieve a sense of balance in her life.
Zena completed her undergraduate bachelor’s degree in health studies at York University, majoring in health policies. Along with her degree; Zena has earned a medical lab technician diploma from Seneca College.
While completing her degree, Zena had worked in the emergency department at Credit Valley Hospital. This opportunity had allowed her to better understand the interactions between patients and their health care provide; and how it affects a patient’s quality of life. Her desire to utilize the theoretical and practical approaches acquired during her studies brought her to Brampton Physio + Wellness Institute.
With her past work experience and educational background,Zena hopes she is able to help the clinic create a positive lasting impact on each of their patients overall wellness.
In her spare time, Zena likes to go hiking, spending time with family and friends, and enjoys trying new things.
Carmen has a certificate Management Development with an extensive 15 years of customer service background, 7 of which are in the management field.
Prior to joining the Brampton Physiotherapy team, Carmen was a Branch Manager for an organization to alternative financial services.
Through her role, Carmen gained strong leadership skills, managed a financial budget and grew her business through internal/external marketing.
She enjoys working with the public and her friendly smile makes others feel at ease instantly. Her transition from a financial industry to healthcare and wellness has given her motivation to better herself and others. Her attention to detail has enabled her to thrive in the administrative field.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her two children and family.
Prior to joining our team, Natalie spent over 10 years in Customer Service. She worked in the food and service industry as a Manager and loved that she had the opportunity to be around many different people. Natalie would always take the time try and make a difference in any situation even if it was just to put a smile on someone’s face. Combined with a background in Healthcare and Customer service, she has a natural appreciation for the impact the smallest detail can have on any situation, especially in a fast-paced environment. Natalie is also passionate about creating an interactive and enjoyable environment that supports learning.
She attended CDI College where she obtained her Medical Office Administration Diploma as well as Sheridan College to obtain her Social Service Worker Diploma. After finishing college she decided to continue forward into healthcare, where she became no stranger to physical rehabilitation. This experience has given her the chance to help motivate and teach others on how to improve their quality of life.
When not at work, Natalie enjoys traveling, cooking, planning events for her friends and family and above all, spending time with her children.
